This is the first picture I took in Kauai. I took it from the balcony of our room. Right after taking this picture my camera battery died. And I didn't have the charger. It was in the backseat of my car. In Roanoke. Virginia.
For the past two years my father has asked that we not exchange Christmas presents. Instead, he picks an adventure that we all go on and pay our own way. Last year it was a white water rafting trip down the James River. This year it was a hot air balloon ride. We had Christmas in May this year, and I took this picture of the back of my sons head on the trip. I'm a little worried next year my dad will have us jumping out of planes.
These pictures are for Melissa... Because she asked for them... The cutsie towel arrangements left by Marnie and her mom. The top picture I've mastered. I learned that the first week of my Towel arranging 101 class. The bottom one looks easy. But the difficulty is keeping the towel folded and placing just the right balance of animal weight in just the right places so that the fold stays folded.

Both times I went to Hawaii I dropped my digital camera. The first time I did so whilst breaking my ankle, and the second time I busted the lcd screen. I'm awesome, in case you were wondering.
That towel thing is clearly something undertaken by crazy people and Canadians. I will never be that talented, ever.
Boy, those Canadian people are very clever aren't they? But then seeing as how they don't like to tub, they have to find something to do with their towels.
I really really hope that you have more pictures... somewhere.
ok the towels were to funny... the hot air ballon is cool and the first pic was beatiful...
Wow...Hot air balloon shot is very cool. Little Dude didn't tell us about that great adventure. I hope you bought one of those cheezy digital cameras from the drug store to take more than one honeymoon photo. Willowtree....I LOVE to "tub" especially with lots of bubble stuff and I learned to fold towels on a cruise ship.
Caroline

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NANCY!!! :) I know in advance how fabulous it would be if you write a new post. In the meantime, eat cake! Lots of cake!

Merry Christmas Nancy!
Happy New Year Nancy!
Hi Nancy! Marnie said you might, just might be thinking of a trip out here in the summer? If so, I can hardly wait. Lots of room here to stay. Jim and I can get lost for a few days and y'all can have the house. Can't wait to give Little Dude a hug. I must remember to go buy some dinosaurs for the bath.
Love Caroline
